Which villages to visit in Alsace?

  • Eguisheim: small medieval village on the Alsace Wine Route which seduces with the charm of its small paved streets built in concentric circles : we enter the “Ronde d’Eguisheim”, which can be discovered through explanatory plaques. In the heart of the village nestle the castle and the chapel of the Alsatian Pope Leo IX, born Bruno d’Eguisheim-Dagsbourg, enthroned in 1049 and pope until his death in 1954. A few minutes from Colmar, Eguisheim is unmissable!

The famous doctor Albert Schweitzer was born in this village and his birthplace today houses a museum which allows you to delve into history.
